Eurobus India Signs MoU to Invest ₹4,200 Crores in Maharashtra

Eurobus India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a landmark agreement with the Government of Maharashtra to establish an electric bus manufacturing facility at Chakan Industrial Area, Pune district. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Industries Minister Uday Samant.

With an investment of ₹4,200 crores, Eurobus India is set to generate 11,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, boosting Maharashtra’s position as a hub for green mobility and sustainable transportation.

Company representatives Mr. Peter Hartmann, Mr. Amey Joshi, and Dr. Sachin Kate met with the Hon’ble Deputy CM and expressed their commitment to contribute towards India’s electric vehicle ecosystem.

This project not only strengthens Maharashtra’s industrial landscape but also supports India’s mission towards clean energy, job creation, and futuristic infrastructure development.

The collaboration highlights Maharashtra’s proactive role in attracting global investment and making the state a leading destination for electric vehicle innovation.
